The story
A calm Caribbean interior
built from natural layers
This one-bedroom apartment was developed as a complete, welcoming home with a clear visual identity from the first step inside. The design uses a light neutral base and lets natural materials create warmth: timber furniture, woven textures, tactile fabrics and handcrafted-looking accessories.
Rather than relying on obvious tropical motifs, the Caribbean character appears through texture, greenery, sunlight and carefully chosen accents. The result is relaxed and distinctive, while remaining practical for everyday living and short or longer stays.
The design direction
Warm wood. Soft neutrals.
A touch of sunshine.
The palette is intentionally bright and natural. White and warm beige keep the apartment airy, while honey-toned wood gives the rooms depth and warmth. Woven fibres, rattan and textured ceramics introduce an artisanal layer.
Mustard yellow appears as a small but memorable accent, balanced by green and teal details inspired by the tropical surroundings. The language is contemporary and clean, but never cold. Every material was selected to make the apartment feel easy, tactile and connected to its Caribbean setting.
The bedroom as a statement
A sculptural bed gives
the private space its identity
The bedroom is organised around a substantial timber canopy bed that immediately gives the room architectural presence. Its simple geometry is softened with layered neutral bedding, textured cushions and a single warm yellow accent.
Light bedside tables and small lamps keep the composition balanced, while natural curtains filter the strong Caribbean daylight. The room feels calm and hotel-like, but the timber frame and handmade textures give it a more individual, residential character.
Natural details, personal character
The personality of the apartment
lives in the details
A slim timber console, woven mirror, dried grasses, sculptural ceramics and expressive artwork add personality without overcrowding the space. The styling combines organic forms with stronger colour moments, allowing the interior to feel curated rather than generic.
These objects are important because they connect the larger furniture pieces with the softer, more relaxed Caribbean atmosphere of the home.
Outdoor living by the pool
The terrace becomes
another room
The covered terrace extends the apartment directly toward the pool and tropical landscape. A woven outdoor seating set creates a comfortable lounge for morning coffee, conversation or quiet time outside, while the black seat cushions give the natural rattan a contemporary edge.
The styling remains deliberately simple so that greenery, daylight and the pool become part of the composition. This is not an accessory balcony. It is a genuine extension of the living experience.
A coherent material language
One material story,
repeated in different ways
Consistency comes from repetition rather than matching sets. Timber appears in the bed, console and storage pieces; woven fibres return in seating, baskets and accessories; glass keeps selected surfaces visually light; and botanical elements connect the interior with the exterior.
Even small wall decorations continue the same natural language. The repetition is subtle, but it gives the apartment a clear sense of completion.
Details that complete the experience
A turnkey home is finished
through the smallest decisions
The coffee station, table accessories, lighting, decorative objects, plants and outdoor details all contribute to the final experience. They demonstrate that the project was considered beyond furniture placement and completed as a usable, styled home, ready for its owner or guests.

The result
The finished apartment feels bright, calm and unmistakably connected to its setting. Natural wood gives the interior warmth, woven textures bring softness and handcrafted character, while restrained yellow, green and teal accents add energy without overwhelming the neutral base.
The bedroom has a strong visual identity, the terrace functions as a true outdoor room and the smaller details complete the experience. The result is a coherent Caribbean home that feels designed, furnished and genuinely finished rather than simply decorated.
