The story
The furniture was there.
The feeling was not.
When we entered this apartment, the main furniture was already in place, but the interior still felt unfinished. Kitchen counters were empty. Bathrooms had no thoughtful guest layer. The bedrooms lacked the textiles and styling that make a room feel inviting. There was no table setting, no art-led story, no flowers and very few of the small details that create atmosphere.
Our role was different here: not to replace what already worked, but to give the apartment its identity. We built that final layer through art, textiles, lighting, greenery, tableware, decorative objects and practical guest essentials, turning a furnished property into a warm, coherent and genuinely welcoming home.
The design challenge
From furnished
to finished
The challenge was to create personality without overloading an already furnished interior. Every addition had to connect with the existing architecture and furniture while introducing warmth, rhythm and a more considered sense of hospitality.
Soft neutrals, warm timber, muted greens and touches of ochre became the visual thread. Artwork gave the walls identity. Plants and flowers brought life. Layered cushions, throws and bedding softened the rooms. Carefully selected objects created small moments of discovery throughout the apartment.
Living & dining, the social layer
A room starts to live
when the details connect
In the living area, the existing furniture became the foundation for a much richer composition. Cushions, throws, floor and table lighting, wall art, greenery and decorative objects introduced texture and visual balance.
The dining table was transformed from an empty surface into a real social focal point. Layered tableware, glassware, napkins and a generous floral centrepiece created a sense of occasion, not as decoration for its own sake, but as a signal that this home is ready to be enjoyed.
The kitchen
From empty counters
to an experience
Previously empty worktops were styled and equipped to feel intentional, practical and welcoming. A coordinated coffee station, countertop appliances, serving pieces, boards, bowls, containers and everyday accessories created a kitchen that now feels complete from the moment a guest walks in.
The styling combines function with personality: soft green accents, natural wood, botanical motifs and warm decorative details keep the kitchen connected to the rest of the apartment.
Bedrooms, softness & identity
Rooms should feel finished
before you even touch the bed
The two bedrooms already had their core furniture, but they needed softness, balance and a stronger sense of identity. Bedding was layered with throws and decorative cushions, bedside compositions were completed with lighting and greenery, and artwork gave each room its own visual character.
The master bedroom became calm and elegant, with warm carved timber and soft neutral textiles. The twin room uses muted green, natural tones and graphic wall art to create a relaxed, versatile atmosphere.
Bathroom & guest-ready details
Comfort lives in the details
guests notice without thinking
The bathrooms were finished with the same attention as the visible living spaces: fresh towels, coordinated dispensers, greenery and natural bamboo storage create a clean, calm and hotel-inspired layer.
Robes, a safe and carefully organised storage reinforce the feeling that the apartment is not simply decorated. It is prepared for real use.
Small moments that create a home
The final layer is where
a property becomes personal
A vase of flowers. A ready coffee corner. Board games waiting on the console. A proper desk for a laptop and morning coffee. Art on walls that were previously empty. A table that invites people to sit down together. None of these elements needs to dominate the room. Together they change how the entire apartment feels.

The result
Not a new interior. A completely new feeling. The transformation did not come from replacing the furniture. It came from understanding what the apartment was missing.
By adding the right layers, textiles, art, lighting, greenery, tableware, practical equipment and carefully chosen decorative details, we turned an already furnished apartment into a coherent, warm and guest-ready home with its own personality.
Sometimes the most important part of a design project is not what you replace. It is what you add.
